Family Education & Training (FET)
FET provides education and training to caregivers of children under the age of 18. The purpose is to provide families with knowledge and skills to help them care for a child with developmental disabilities. Topics include but are not limited to the educational system, guardianship, strategies to support your child, and advocacy.

Self-Direction
Self-Direction empowers people with developmental disabilities to manage the supports and services they receive, to determine who provides these supports, and decide how and where they are provided. Individuals who choose to self-direct their services work with a Support Broker and Fiscal Intermediary to obtain goods and services that promote greater independence within the community and participate in activities that may better meet their needs.

Community Habilitation
Everyone has the right to be supported in working to achieve their goals, dreams and aspirations. Our open minded, opportunity driven and collaborative person-centered approach works. We use our expertise and combined knowledge to serve you. We are dedicated to helping people achieve their potential and believe that a compassionate, accepting and continually data-driven scientific based approach is the best way to do so. We believe in every person’s right and opportunity to live a fulfilling and healthy life. We believe that every person has the right to choose what makes them fulfilled. Every person has the right to pursue hopes and dreams.

Employment Services
We offer an Employment Training Program which provides individuals with an opportunity to work in an internship that may lead to permanent employment in a community business. We also offer Supported Employment (SEMP) and ACCES-VR services, which provides the supports individuals need to obtain and maintain paid competitive jobs in the community.

Respite Services
We recognize the importance for caregivers to have temporary relief from the continuous support and care that they provide for their loved ones with differing abilities. Respite services provide companionship and temporary relief from the demands of caregiving, which helps reduce overall family stress. This often enables families to better meet the needs of their loved one with a developmental disability. Respite can be provided in the home or out of the home, during the day, evenings, or on the weekends.
