Dr. Andy Lopez-Williams
Dr. Andy Lopez-Williams is a licensed psychologist with training and experience in clinical, forensic, and neuropsychology. He received his Ph.D. from the University at Buffalo and completed his Residency in Psychology at the University of Washington, School of Medicine. He has been assessing and treating neurodevelopmental and neurocognitive disorders for more than 15 years. He has numerous articles in various peer-reviewed, scientific journals and presented at various conferences on topics related to the assessment and treatment of behavioral health problems. Dr. Lopez-Williams co-founder of CNY Quest. He has also founded its sister agencies ADHD & Autism Psychological Services and Advocacy and Aspire Behavioral Health Solutions.
Jennifer received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the State University of New York College at Fredonia and Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Prior to working at Central New York Quest, Jennifer worked on an inpatient mental health unit and also conducted crisis assessments in an emergency room setting. Jennifer has a passion for enriching the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.
Cherie Alberski is a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional with almost 25 years of experience in the field. She received her Associate’s Degree in Human Resources from Mohawk Valley Community College and her B.S. in Elementary Education from State University of New York at Oswego. In addition to 6 years as an ESL Universal Pre-Kindergarten Teacher, Cherie has spent most of her adult life working with children and adults with developmental disabilities. She has worked in a variety of programs throughout Oneida, Madison and Onondaga Counties, such as Day Habilitation, Vocational Training and Rehabilitation, Recreational Therapy, Respite, and Medicaid Service Coordination. She advocates for people with developmental disabilities and assists with their ultimate goal of independence and community integration.
Desiree completed her B.S. in Business Administration at SUNY Polytechnic Institute. Desiree has a considerable amount of experience working with children with disabilities. Prior to becoming a Medicaid Service Coordinator at Central New York Quest, Inc., Desiree gained most of her experience working as a Residential Manager at a non-profit. Desiree’s ultimate goal is to work with a team that shares her dedication to the growth and advancement of the clients that we serve at CNY Quest, Inc.
Gabe Lockwood has been advocating for individual human rights for most of his life. Whether abroad, in our domestic courts or in the lives of individuals he has always worked to defend, support and give hope to those in need. He completed his B.A. in Psychology, with a minor in Human Rights Advocacy and a pre-law concentration from Utica College of Syracuse University. Gabe has had a variety of business experience over the years and brings his compassionate, results driven approach to combine with the therapeutic, evidence based behavioral perspective that fosters support for all clients. Gabe firmly respects individual rights and protects the right to choose and to be supported in achieving their desired outcomes. He has brought his wide range of skills to work with our local neuro-developmentally disabled population, including interfacing with academic and political institutions in order to help support the positive and transformational work that CNY Quest undertakes daily. Gabe is grateful to be working with a strong group of professionals who serve our community and make positive changes in the lives of families and individuals every day. Through a commitment to state-of-the-science approaches and compassionate clinical care Gabe actively helps individuals thrive within our community.
